Maitland Hospital
Project Description
The new Maitland Hospital will provide a comprehensive healthcare facility to meet the growing health needs of the Maitland and Hunter Valley communities now and into the future. The new hospital will offer a wider range of services with significantly more beds and treatment spaces. It will include emergency care, chemotherapy chairs, surgical services, critical care, maternity services, pediatric care, cardiac catheterisation, inpatient beds, mental health, rehabilitation services and outpatient clinics.
Flow Balance was engaged by the mechanical contractor to provide HVAC commissioning services.
Included Services:
- Testing & Balancing – Air & Hydronics,
- Ductwork & Room Pressure Testing,
- Essential Services – Fire and Smoke Management Testing.
Outcome
Throughout the project, Flow Balance provided effective solutions without affecting the architecture or clinical planning. Our reports conclude that installation is in accordance with both Health Design Guidelines and Mechanical Specification.
