Wagga Wagga Hospital Redevelopment
Project Description
Wagga Wagga Hospital is the largest NSW Government investment in regional health upgrades, this redevelopment consists of a new seven-storey acute hospital building, associated external works and car parking. As a major rural referral hospital, the Wagga Wagga Hospital works in collaboration with the district’s local health services to provide care across the region.
Flow Balance was engaged by the mechanical contractor to both air and water commissioning services.
Included Services:
- Testing & Balancing – Air & Hydronics,
- Ductwork Pressure Testing,
- Pipework Flushing due to BSRIA standards,
- Essential Services – Fire and Smoke Management Testing.
Outcome
Throughout the project, Flow Balance provided effective solutions without affecting the architecture or clinical planning. Our reports conclude that installation is in accordance with both Health Design Guidelines and Mechanical Specification.
